Websites started off as a novelty. Look what goofy pictures we can post online! Then they began serving as a form of communication, and commerce, and advocacy. You'll notice that we do all three things on this website, as we develop or discover information and products that we think our customers and visitors will appreciate. Ironically, the act of creating this ongoing piece of work has itself become a source of work for me. As I began building and expanding our website, friends, family and customers began asking me to build websites for them too, so that they could post their own ideas, products, services and stories.

After having built a few of these as favors, I began taking on clients who wanted me to build professional, commercial sites for their businesses. I wasn't sure how that was going to go, given that I wouldn't be the one making all the decisions, but it turns out I enjoyed the collaborative effort and they sure appreciated having a website to help their business.

So now I offer that service to everyone else who might be interested. I have posted my rates below, and if you do any website shopping at all you'll know that these are extremely competitive rates. The SBI web hosting service and web building software that I prefer are highly recommended, and many websites built and hosted through SBI have performed very well. I am also comfortable working with Frontpage and raw HTML code if that's what you already have going.

Generic Website Creation/Consultation Services & Rates

DIY Package	$500 for package	I supply the URL registration and hosting, and 5 hours consultation. Client has the login, supplies and uploads all keyword research, architecture layout, text and graphics. After first 5 hours, ongoing support at $30/hr.
Skeleton Package	$1000 for package	I supply URL registration and hosting, basic architecture guidance and 10 hours consultation. Client has the login, supplies and uploads all text and graphics after I walk them through procedure. After first 10 hours, ongoing support at $30/hr.
Full Meal Deal	$2500 for package	I supply URL registration and hosting, all research, architecture, text and graphics, with 20 hours consultation. I maintain the login. Client supplies just the basic concept and OK's all keywords, architecture, text, and graphics prior to upload. After first 20 hours, ongoing support at $30/hr.
Individual Consultation	$30/hr	Support for new or existing websites on other platforms (such as Frontpage, Dreamweaver, etc)
First 1 hour consultation is always free, and no obligation.
